Dr. Nudrat Aisha Akram

Dr. Nudrat Aisha Akram is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. She did her PhD from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. She specializes in the field of plant stress physiology. She is recipient of cash award of Rs. 5000/- on completion of PhD well before the timeline set by the university. She was nominated for a Gold Medal and a cash award of Rs. 35,000/- as a young scientist in the field of Botany for the year, 2012 by Pakistan Academy of Sciences. The editorial board of Crop Science selected her for 2013 Editor’s Citation for Excellence Award. Recently, she has been selected as “TWAS YOUNG AFFILIATE” for the year 2015 from the Central & South Asian Region for five years (2015-2019). Every year since 2010, she earned Research Productivity Award, from the Pakistan Council for Science & Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan in different categories.

She has published more than 80 publications, several in high-impact international journals, including 7 review articles and 2 chapters in an edited book. Dr. Akram’s publications’ impact factor, 115; h-index, 15 and citation index over 710.
